RNTCP – Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme. |
Under Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme – RNTCP, GRETNALTES started a Treatment Unit in 2003, by covering a population of 5,91,000 under Scheme IX. Under this programme the anti Tuberculosis activities are implemented through 7 Microscopic centres in 11 Primary Health Centres of Tenali Division.
Objectives:
- To ensure DOT – Directly Observation Treatment in the allotted area.
- To ensure microscopy services.
- To create awareness in the Public about Tuberculosis.
- To ensure the community participation in the programme.
